Bonjour! My name is Samuel Lalo. I am a researcher/ architect/ lecturer currently working in Melbourne - Australia.

Born in France, raised around the world, undergrad from Australia, Masters from Japan, currently based in Australia, working on projects worldwide.

My areas of specialty include but are not limited to digital design, business management, design visualization and interplanetary design processes. A lot of this background came from my experience of studying at the University of Tokyo where I researched digital fabrication and new construction methods with Prof. Yusuke Obuchi and Kengo Kuma.




Recent research follow the topics of “Symbiotic Landscape Design through Environmental and Animal Computation” as well as “Socially Integrated 3D regolith printing for interstellar settlements”. I have mostly focused these last seven years of my career both teaching a wide variety of sujects at various universities as well as working as a freelance architect and research associate. I enjoy collaborating with various disciplines to push innovative concepts fit for our present and future society.
